I first heard Amy Winehouse as I was shopping in TK Maxx (Hereford branch) and 'You know I'm no good' came on the PA system. I thought it must be a classic song from back when music was great (and TK Maxx had someone really cool choosing the music) and I thought, I want to know who this amazing singer is.
I can't think of any other song that has pinned me to the spot and made me remember it with quite such force.

To this blog she was always "local girl done good". Feeling very sad about this calamity.
